A:  There is plenty of clearence between house anf handel with the handel on the house eide. Ifind no problem with using it this way.

A:  Yes, you just swivel 180 degrees and the handle is on the other side.

A:  The reel can swivel so that you are able to wind it from whichever side you would like.  It has a locking pin on top so you can lock/unlock and put it in the position you desire.

A:  Yes, it can. We have 2 and we mounted them one on left & right. Works great.

A:  The unit spins a full 360 degrees. Mine is set with the handle on the right. 

A:  No, it cannot as one side is for the handle and the other is reserved for the intake hose. The image on the website shows the reel rotated where the handle appears on the left side. The reel itself can be rotated 360 degrees but it is right-handed as the hose connection will draw-in from the top. Left-handers could use it as-pictured but it might be a little awkward as the hose would be drawn-in from the button of the reel.

A:  No handle mounts on one side , The hose reel itself can spin 180 degrees. So it should work for your location.

A:  Shipping weight is probably around 25-30 pounds, it’s solid, nothing cheap about it!

A:  The item itself is 14 lbs so the shipping weight would be just slightly more. I will say however that it was shipped in the original manufacturer's packaging and not double-boxed. I originally ordered two but had to return/exchange one of them since it arrived damaged.

A:  I really like this product. I installed mine with the top bolts going in at about 48” off the ground. That leaves the bottom of the reel at about 30” off the ground. Depends a little on how high you want the top table. My faucet is directly below it and I needed some room under the reel to reach down to turn the faucet on. I could see it placed about a foot lower than mine and still make it very functional.

A:  You can mount it is high or as low as you need to. I see the hose bib in your photo is below the window. I would suggest you mount just below the window so as it isn't to low. You don't want to bend over too much to reel the hose back in.

A:  Mine is mounted on a brick wall also and is about 3 foot off the ground. No rules on how high you mount it. Whatever is comfortable to you!

A:  We installed ours waist high on brick 4+ yrs ago with no issues.

A:  Recommend installing at waist to chest height for ease in using the crank. The spinning action does most of the work, but you still need leverage to crank comfortably.

A:  I do not know, but if you're concerned over its quality, I was so pleased with its quality that i purchased another one for the other side of the house. These are so much better than any hose reel I've owned in quality, durability and functionality.
