Q:We just got Collinger II installed in late December. I vacuumed one room and was surprised with all the fuzz that came out of the carpet. Is this normal?

A: Hello Spike. Yes, the carpet will shed some during the first couple of weeks. It is not an indication that the carpet is flawed, and it will not affect the appearance or performance of the carpet. Q:I got a sample of this carpet and then after confirming the color we liked I took the sample and poured a small amount of water on it. The water soaked right in. Isn't this supposed to repel liquids?

A: Hello MichelleP. Carpet samples have been rolled and bent during storage and delivery. This causes the fibers to become separated; therefore, liquids will travel the path between the fibers. There were a few pulls, but they are dealing with them

It’s proven to clean well both with spots left after installation and one pet accident. There were pulls in the weave but the installers will be visiting to look at them. The installation company is very accommodating.

Chester - Color Classical Indoor Pattern

Within 2 weeks of having this carpet installed, I noticed multiple runs and snags in it. This carpet was recommended by Home Depot for household with dogs, they said it’s pet proof. I didn’t have this issue with my old carpet.

Carpet vs 90 pound collie

I purchased this carpet specifially for the pet protection and it has been installed for about a month. With the rain we have had mud has been tracked it and it has not come clean after cleaning. It does seem to release the hair that is shed. Just not what I thought I was.getting. Still a pretty color.
