Very happy so far
Ordered 9/21/20, estimated delivery was 12/10-12/21/20. Hot tub was delivered much earlier and arrived yesterday 10/16/20. Shipping company communicated very well by phone the few days before delivery. Hot tub is up and running and meets all expectations. We are very happy with the product so far.

    Good value when on sale
I purchased this spa online through HomeDepot.com on 6/24/20, it shipped 8/27/20. It was delivered 9/16/20. Amazingly, from the initial order in June, Home Depot stated to expect it 9/9/20... and that was surprisingly accurate. I am writing this review now that the spa is here, in place, wired and operating. I will update over time as we use it. LifeSmart: Do a little research and you'll find LifeSmart is a subsidiary of Watkins. Watkins has a solid reputation and has been making spas for decades. This was the final deciding factor for me for purchasing this spa. Watkins has been around a long time, servicing and parts should be easy to get and find. Delivery: 4/5 stars The third party delivery was pretty good. Overall good communication. Took longer than expected to get the delivery appointment set. The driver was late, but did call when he was 30mins away. Granted, this is not a reflection on HD or LifeSmart, as it's a third party, however, I'm rating the entire experience. Please note, the tub arrives on a crate with the motor/heavy end down. The driver will likely only have a lift gate and he will drop the crate in the driveway if you are not prepared. We proceeded to slide the tub into a 16x7' enclosed trailer and move it down to our back patio. That took about 20mins. NOTE: the base of the tub does not have a frame. There are open holes in the molded plastic filled with expanding foam. you will NOT be able to use handtrucks to move the tub. You should expect to use wheeled dollies or a trailer where you can slide the tub onto. I would recommend having a sheet of plywood on hand to set the tub on when moving it if you plan to lay it down and move. The driver recommended we "roll" the tub into place with a bunch of people. Power/wiring: 1/5 stars Wiring was performed by a local electrician. He was not happy and we were all unprepared to have the electrical access on the FRONT of the tub. UGH. they had to install hard conduit from the GFCI box on the house all the way to the front, drilled into the cement to secure it. Not happy about that. Sure wish LifeSmart reversed the lounger position and controls so this could be avoided. UGH. Was almost a dealbreaker... and might have been if I knew before ordering. We could only install it in one orientation as we live on a lake... how stupid would it have been to have the main lounger that takes up half the tub facing the house. The spa: 4/5 Everything works as expected. The pump leaked significantly as soon as we fired it up, thankfully, it was only the PVC collar on the exit that had wiggled loose during shipped. Make sure to check and snug those up before filling. Operation of the spa is as the manual states. The color of the cover is really disappointing. I wish it was the same as the brown on the tub itself. It's not a very attractive brown. Some people hate the rotomolded feel of the plastic. It's fine, so far. Not a huge deal. There is almost no wood on the entire spa! YAY! that's awesome because here in MI it's wet/raining and cloudy all the time. Plastic is PERFECT. Folks in AZ/TX might want to think twice about this spa... I'm not so sure how well the plastic will hold up to the sun. Value: 4/5 This rating is caveated with one thing... I got this tub on sale at almost half of the normal listing price. Having the wiring access only at the front is a HUGE consideration, IMO, especially if you're like me and only have one option for orientation.

      Basic tub
If I had not bought this on sale for $3k, I’d be very disappointed. The spa has some nice features (manual water fall, light, and strong small jets). I think there are several design flaws. I understand it’s rough so people don’t slip but the smoothness around the jets only is disappointing. The rest is like sand paper so do not wear nice suits and expect your behind to get chafed, seriously. I now sit on a towel. The hookup is in the front and unless you cut the bottom of the tub making room, it has to come out the front (see pic). I picked this one because I wanted the lounger. If the cover would open the other way, I could leave it on when in it but it blocks the whole view since the tub is not square and has to stay on one way only. The tub is also short so you probably won’t need steps unless you are very short. You get what you pay for.

Hello, thank you for your time in reviewing your new Tierra. We are glad to hear you are enjoying the features like the waterfall, lights, and jets! Our tubs have a subtle texture for non-slip purposes, but an extremely rough texture of the tub is not normal! Please contact customer service about this issue at (888) 961-7727 or ahsservice@watkinsmfg.com. We also do not recommend using your hot tub with the cover on, it should be fully removed before use for your safety. Thank you again for your feedback, it will be shared with our team. Happy soaking!

Red Flag!!! DO NOT BUY THIS!!!
I've never been so disappointed with a purchase in my life. I bought this as a Christmas present for my wife. I am currently draining it now for the third time for excessive leaks. Will we ever even get to turn it on??

Hello, Brando. We are sorry you are experiencing leaks, this is certainly not normal and we would love to get this figured out for you! Please do not hesitate to contact our customer support team at 888-961-7727 (M-F 8-4 PST) or by email at ahsservice@watkinsmfg.com.
          Nice tub.
Works great, holds temperature and heats up much better than the plug and play (110) I previously owned. Make sure the orientation of the tub works for you i.e. relationship of power cord when attached to elec. box. Also will the position of the seats when sat in have the view you were anticipating. Lastly, buy on sale. I had to tighten (1/4 turn) the main large plastic nut on the discharge side of the pump after installation. Check it when hooking up the power supply, they are on the same side of the tub.

            Awkward Hot Tub
The hot tub arrived quickly and ahead of schedule. It was easy to install on the deck. We had owned a hot tub with another house so not new to them. The instructions for start up aren’t the best as they are vague. Control panel instructions and options for cycle times limited. Problem with the tub is the design. There are no ledges or drink holders. You are forced to hold your glass or mug if you take anything in it. The waterfall control is very cheap plastic and difficult to turn on and off. We use it little because fear it will snap off. The lounger floats you up so constantly having to anchor yourself (while holding your drink). Jets are not as strong as previous tub. Pumps run for an hour cycle vs 15 minutes. Outside brown design is dated. Overall, would not repurchase. Overpriced and very poor design. Look elsewhere or wait! Not worth the money.

Hello! We are sorry to hear that your new Tierra is not meeting your expectations. The waterfall knob should not feel flimsy, there may be something wrong and we can help you with that! Additionally, there are several options for setting your filter cycles- if you are have additional questions about setting them to your preferences, please don't hesitate to reach out to our customer care team at (888) 961-7727 or shoot an email to ahsservice@watkinsmfg.com. -- Happy soaking!
