Saw this little ride on online and thought my son would love it. It’s not your normal ride on, you need to literally wiggle the bike back and forth to move it. I tried it out myself and did not really move a lot but I was using it indoors on carpet, maybe it works better outside. Will need to wait until my son is a little older to use it, probably age 8 or up.

2 1/2 year old son loves it and actually figured it out. I cant believe he was able to understand how to drive this thing at such a young age but he did. He was having such a good time with it in the living room and even more fun once we finally got it outside. The instructions say it should be on level ground and this is true and important. Its really difficult to run on an incline of any sort. I tied a little rope to it so I could help him once in a while but he largely has it all figure out. Great gift for my son. I might have the steering wheel backwards but it seems to function well!

Great ride on toy for any child age 2 or older and hold up to 150 lb. Assembly was easy, took it out of the box, pushed the rear wheels into the rear holes, make sure to fully seat both wheels into place (suggested using a hammer but we popped them on the floor and they seated nicely). Then insert the steering shaft and secure the steering wheel on. My grandson loved it and we had a blast watching him try out his new toy. Definitely recommend.

This is a great kid-powered car for the money! I got this to keep at "grandma's house" since we have a lot of room inside and a large drive-way he can use when he visits. He is 2 1/2 right now and doesn't use the "wiggle" aspect of the car yet, but he easily tools around the house with his feet on the floor. He even loves to use it to run his other cars over the top and steering wheel! This car is easy to put together if you read and follow the instructions - make sure to attach the steering wheel last. I think he will get many years of use from this car and a good core workout in the future along with the fun!

I got this for my great nephew Elias who is 16 months old. I thought he might be to young for it but felt he will grow into it. I think this "car" will be great in helping him hone his motor skills (pun intended). First, I think the engineering design is excellent. It sits low to the floor and if a child falls off there should be a low possibility of injury. Also if they turn the wheel sharply the car won't turn over due to a third guide wheel on the front axle. It is non-motorized and only goes as fast as the child can wiggle the steering wheel back and forth. It works by centrifugal force and must be used on a flat smooth surface such as a tile or garage floor. It could also be used on a flat concrete driveway. Elias because of his size could not safely put his feet on top of the seating platform but he easily could put his feet on the floor and straddle the car. He took to it immediately to our surprise and started pushing it forward and backward. I think he will get a lot of good use from this and I think it will hold up well. Time will tell.

My son loves this toy. We live in a very cold state, so this is the perfect thing to keep him busy in the garage during the long, cold, snowy winter when he is unable to ride his bicycles outside. It will scratch hardwood floors, so it is best not to use it inside. Besides that, I'd say the only other con is that it does not have the wight capacity to handle an adult male. (I've seen other cars that can handle adults).

This is a really great ride-on toy for a young child, and for some reason, Home Depot's price is simply exceptional. The product is of high quality, and is fairly easy to assemble. I've provided a photo of all the parts out of the box. It takes about 10 minutes to put together, but while there are no screws you need to use, it's not actually tool-less. The wheels must be "banged" in with a mallet, which many people probably don't have on hand, and the steering column must be affixed with a socket wrench. While a small wrench is provided, it's simply impossible to get the expanding bolt tight enough using this tool without a second tool to provide more leverage. I used a channel lock pliers to grip the included wrench. It would be impossible to properly assemble without these additional tools. Another thing I should mention is that the front wheels and steering column must be aligned by sight, which is really hard to do. The manufacturer could do a simple re-design of the mechanism so that it could only be attached with the correct alignment, eliminating an obvious error point. The good news is that once it's assembled, it's a lot of fun for kids to ride on. My three-year-old is just big enough to have fun on it, while still having plenty of growing room. The novel design of this car is easy for young kids to grasp - you turn the wheel, and it sort of tips the car one way and then the other, which gives it enough inertia to move forward. I was impressed that the manufacturer took the product seriously enough to include real ball bearings in all the main wheels and the steering column. That really helps the car feel faster and smoother. Without these bearings, the design likely wouldn't work. Note that the manual suggests not using it indoors, as it could scuff flooring, but we found no damage done to our wood floors. The situation would be different if you took it out onto cement, scuffed up the wheels, and then brought it back indoors. I'd say either use this indoors or outdoors, but not both.

This wiggle car is a lot of fun for kids and provides a great experience compared to just a regular ride-on car. Beneath the steering wheel there is two sets of wheels, one of which is above the floor. When a kid turns hard in the car, it tips slightly and rides on the raised wheels, giving a fun time. They can move themselves around without peddling with their feet. Often though, they will pedal as well. The car is exceptionally light (under 10 lbs.) and durable. It is meant for kids 3+ and can hold a variety of sizes. With this car though, you need a large flat surface. My daughter loves it and these are at her pre-school too, in a large room, where the kids love using them. You should consider a few things before buying this car: space, walls/furniture and surface. Kids need some space to move around in them as they will pedal long distances as well as spinning around. With that, the edges of the car are about 6 inches above ground so the care can damage walls, furniture and things of that sort. There are no rubber bumpers. The car operates almost solely on flat surfaces like hardwood, laminate plank (with tight gaps) vinyl, and concrete. Since the wheel are plastic and have no rubber on them, they can damage the finish on hardwood floors over time, especially as dirt gets stuck to the wheels. My daughter also likes to push things with wheels, this car is not good for that as the front wheels like to spin out easily and the car turns. The car arrived packaged pretty well and the instructions were relatively easy to follow; just snap in the rear wheels and install/align the steering wheel with the front wheels. Assembly took me 5 minutes and the only tool needed is a 17mm sprocket which is provided in the package. The car is made mostly of a durable plastic with the steering shaft being the main piece of metal.
