60,000 pounds of strength per square inch of weld, the next number represents the position you can weld which is all position. The three is the coating of the shield for the rod to protect the weld from impurities.

Best product in the industry.
The Lincoln E6013 is a superior electrode. The arc stays lit after striking even at low amperage which, enables the user to produce a controlled weld and minimizes splatter. The shielding is excellent and seems to work well even on metal that has not been prepared. The slag is easy to remove and the welds are clean and strong

Rod is okay, but where's the tin?
The welding rod is overall fine. It's standard commody grade ER6013 1/8 rod. Great for mild steel, general fabrication, and MRO. Works fine on an A/C stick welder. HOWEVER; the picture advertised this rod coming in a sealed metal tin. The rod is not shipped this way, it's simply loose rod in a corrugated cardboard box. There was no vapor barrier. So, when UPS leaves these rods on your doorstep and it's raining/snowing out...... And even if it's not - you have no way of knowing how these rods have been stored, or for how long. Assume that they are loaded with moisture. I would have liked a metal tin. Now I have a lot of rod that I need to find a storage/dessicant solution for before storing in uncondioned space.

With the bulk discount these ended up being the cheapest available 6013 electrodes in the area or online. Quality seems fine, i'm not a pro welder, and the beads come out nice and as expected. Slag peels nicely too. Consistency in how they burn throughout the length of the rod seems a bit off. They seem to burn more violently when they are long and become more manageable as they get shorter. That is, in comparison to using Forney and harbor freight rods (same spec and relatively same-ish length) overall, would reccomend, but again, i'm not a pro welder.

This I used a Forney MP140 to stick weld 1/4 steel plates. The thinner diameter is better suited for this light duty machine. I tried a thicker rod but the amperage was not sufficient. I am pleased with this products.
