Answer This Question

A:  The helmet is assuming you need more protection. That's why I don't use the self shading one. The non adjusting one is a little harder to get used to but no issues with shade adjustment.

by|Apr 1, 2022

A:  I would say it is in the battery or the circuit board That is the only problem with the self darking shelf. The helmets that don't darken, just put them down and that's it!

by|Apr 16, 2020

A:  There is a sensor on the front. Try cleaning the front of the shield and see if that corrects the problem

                Lincoln Shouldn’t Sell This
I knew from the beginning this was an el cheapo, but it’s really bad! I paid $40 a year ago for it and can’t believe it went up to almost $60! I don’t remember dropping it or doing anything out of the ordinary with it, but one of the plastic things that holds the headband on broke. I am now superglueing it to try and salvage it. It is suuuuper chintzy. I would say Lincoln just shouldn’t even offer this. This ghetto quality should not be an option for any company, even some no name Chinese junk.

not what I would call quality - the headstrap adjustment is not fine enough it has to be too tight not to slip - it is expensive for what you get - not recommended
