Comfortable protection
I don't weld anymore, but for years I've used welding gauntlets to protect my hands and forearms when I'm handling razor-sharp bromeliads and cacti.
The gloves are true to size.
The goatskin leather gives protection and allows good finger flexibility. They have an ASTM A4 (medium) cut level rating. The impact protection pads have deep enough cuts to allow free hand movement. Suede uppers provide excellent forearm protection.
Really happy with these gloves!

Comfortable Welding Gloves
Lincoln Electric Extra-Large Impact and Cut Resistant Welding Gloves, White
These gloves have a soft lining so they are very comfortable. The leather on the outside of the gloves is flexible and soft but tuff at the same time. I love the rubber knuckle and finger guards. If you need a great pair of gloves for welding these are the gloves you should get.

Beautifully made, but smaller than I expected
These gloves are XL size, but apparently Lincoln's idea of XL is a bit smaller than mine. I can get them on and off, but it is a two-handed process and the gloves are not as flexible as I would have preferred when my hand is in them. That having been said, the construction is beautiful, and the addition of the rubber finger backing on the outside of the glove makes possible moving hot items with less danger.

Great Fit in XL
Lincoln welders MIG/TIG Cut Resistant Glove in XL
I use gloves with most operations, as a metal worker, the same goes for most welders, metal prep and grinding operations. Well, these gloves from Lincoln not only fit all of my needs but the same goes for many who work in the auto body and pipeline fields. For a change a glove maker has considered you need the same gloves to move metal and prepare a job for finishing. I normally need a 2xl work glove which means it’s hard to find a welding glove that will fit. Lincoln has filled that nee with this glove. Lincoln’s XL glove fits my hand. I no longer need to strip my welding gloves to get a parted fitted up. I also can go from prepping and grinding straight to the welder. Personally, the time savings means will mean more completed work at the end of my day. These gloves are a very welcome addition to my work day uniform.

Nice Gloves
The Lincoln XL welding gloves are very nice. The gloves are made of a soft leather and are very flexible. These gloves would be very good for the welding hobbyist but not for production welding. The impact guards will trap spattter and burn out quickly and the soft leather will wear quickly. For the average weekend welder these will hold up ok. Size wise I do not have extra large or even large hands and these gloves were snug on me, a case of Chinese sizing being off I believe or I just got a smaller pair. It’s not that I don’t like these gloves but these are just too complicated. I believe Lincoln has over thought the welding glove, it’s a simple thing and these are expensive.

Great Gloves
These Lincoln Electric Extra-Large Impact and Cut Resistant Welding Gloves are awesome heavy duty hand protection. They are made of goatskin making them surprisingly flexible and comfortable. The Aramid, think Kevlar, lining is heat resistant, smooth and highly protective. The thick protective reinforcement is very flexible and the cuff, also goatskin and Aramid lining, extends 4 ½ inches up the forearm. I found the size to be on the smaller end of the extra-large designation and people who normally would use a large will be okay with these. I normally buy XL and these are very comfortable.

Well made, great fit
These Lincoln Electric impact and cut resistant welding gloves are very thick and well made. Level 4A cut resistant and made with goatskin leather. Size XL fits very well on a very large hand. Easy to move fingers and hand with glove on. Gives protection part way up forearm, which will be great against sparks with welding. These gloves are made in Pakistan.

Lincoln Welding Gloves
I ordered this particular product to provide protection when using my mug welder. I’ve used polyester gloves and the hot cast off burns right thru them. The Lincoln gloves are a tough design offering cut protection as well as burn protection.The leather is Goatskin and is very comfortable. The stitching is one hundred percent Aramid. The gloves are not only durable they look good too.

Well fitting gloves
I really like these Lincoln Electric welding gloves. They say they are for Tig and Mig welding but you can use these gloves for stick welding as well. They are heavy enough to protect your hands , and are light enough to be flexible. These Gloves have added protection for your hands and fingers in the way of padding on the back of your hand and the top of your finger and thumb areas. This comes in handy when working with different types of metals. These gloves can also be used for hot work such as handling hot metals, or for installing heated Bearings onto a shaft. These Gloves have a ATSM ANSI cut level resistance of “A4” which is good for metal fabrication and handling, Automotive assembly, Aerospace Industry, Bottle and glass handling, Drywall, Appliance manufacturing, and Food processing. These are nice gloves that can be used for a variety of tasks and you will be pleased with this purchase.
