    Q:Is this tray ideal to use on textured walls?

    A:  This is not a good choice for textured walls because the roller covers are for smooth surfaces (like regular drywall). For rougher surfaces, you should use a 1/2in nap (for light texture like orange peel) up to a 3/4in nap or even 1in nap for heavier textures (like heavy stucco). Those higher nap rollers are not available in kits, but are available in single purchases in the roller cover bay. Thanks,

          roller cover had a bump in it
          Luckily we were just using this to primer, but there was a bump in the roller cover that made it harder to use and uneven coverage.
