Perfect shower light fixture
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I picked this up to use in a new shower installation as part of a basement renovation. I specifically needed something low profile that would fit flush in a standard octagon box due to some overhead ductwork in the area where the shower was roughed in by the home builder, and this fixture fit the bill perfectly. The rubber-gasketed back really gave me the confidence that this fixture will hold up over time in the wet environment, and I have no doubt it will last.
The selectable colour temperature switch was a nice added touch as it lets you match the temperature with the other lights you have in the area. The selector switch works well, but my only complaint is that its located on the back side of the fixture and requires removing the fixture in order to access it, so if you want to change the temperature after its installed its a bit of a hassle. I understand why this needed to be done in order to maintain the water-tight seal, but its still a minor hassle users may face. Also the label on the switch does not align with the switch positions, so its a bit confusing at first, but once you figure out there are 5 selectable positions you can match it up to the label just counting the number of positions you have moved.
Although I didnt use this fixture in a retro-fit application, it does include an adapter harness for wiring to a standard E26 socket in a typical recessed 4" housing, which adds a lot of flexibility to the use cases this fixture covers, and the inclusion of 3 different colour faceplates makes matching any decor quite a painless experience.
I also tested the light fixture for compatibility with a few different smart dimmer switches I had available, and had no issues with any of them. I tried with a Zooz Z-Wave dimmer, Inovelli Z-wave dimmer and Feit Wifi dimmer and all worked great.
Overall I'm really happy with this SPEX CCT5 Multi Selectable 4" LED Fixture for my intended use and would happily recommend it.

Quick and Easy to Install
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very easy to install - took me about 1 minute to switch the old light fixture out to the new LED recessed fixture in my laundry room. I was impressed it came with 3 high quality trims in an assortment of colours - black, white and grey. The light comes in 5 different brightness settings - I opted for the 3500K as I prefer a whiter light over the typical 2700K yellow light. You can also fit the recessed light in any octagon box or canned pot lights. I am satisfied with this product and would recommend if you are looking for an LED recessed light.

Many options
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I was retrofitting a PAR50 pot light, so I used the medium base adapter and the butterfly clips to install the light. The installation was easy and secure, and the quick connector made the wiring easy.
The LED light provides a 'cleaner' look than the separate trim and bulb on my original light fixture. Three trim covers are provided in white, black and silver. This seems wasteful.
The fixture allows different light colours from 2700K to 5000K. I strongly believe that 5000K is the only correct setting, but others may prefer the freedom of selecting one of the incorrect options.

SPEX LED Multi - Great for Retrofits
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The SPEX LED Multi light seems to have been primarily designed for retrofits; its not a light thats meant for new installations (or for new installations on an existing ceiling).
Pros:
- Fairly bright; spreads well (~120deg)
- Nice option to be able to select the color (2700K - 5000K)
- Able to change the bezel with the included Silver, Black and White
- Great for retrofits; especially into existing E26 based 4" recessed housings (with the provided E26 adapter and butterfly clips)
- Stand alone install into (existing) octagonal boxes (fire and wet rated when installed in a fire rated box)
Cons:
- Not meant for new pot light installations (without recessed housings)
- Color section must be done at the light, with a physical switch; would be nice to be able to connect the light to the WIZ app and change the color from there
- Color selection tops out at "Cool White" (5000K), would be nice to have "Daylight" option also (6500K)
Not a bad light for retrofitting purposes; however its it a little limited in its usability for the general public.

Lighting to beautify your space
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The Spex 4 inch recessed light allows you to beautify your space to match your décor or highlight any space. It comes with 5 different light shade setting and is easily to install with all the hardware required to swap out an existing recessed light or to upgrade a current one. The front bezel/faceplate is magnetic making swapping them a breeze and I comes with all 3 colors to choose from white, black and silver. The only draw back is the color selectable switch is at the back of the unit for beautification purpose so you will have to drop the light to change to color. I personally don’t mind because it is quite easy to do. Over this is a great product and a complement to my décor.

Easy install
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This light was very easy to install! You can choose between 2700-5000k to match other lighting in your house. I like the yellow of 2700 as I find 5000 to hard on the eyes. The switch is hidden when you install it though, so to change the colour you have to remove a couple screws.
It is a bit dim and doesn’t light up a very big area. So I think it would be better suited in a room with multiple lights or over something like a fireplace as an example, to light up an area of a room. I think it’s too dim as a single light for something like a bedroom.
It comes with 3 magnetic trim plates, white, black and silver. It’s nice you can change the look at anytime in only seconds.
It also comes with necessary wires to replace into a old 4” pot light. We installed it into the regular octagon box that most light fixtures are connected to and it was very simple.
I recommend this light to replace old pot lights or a old ugly lighting fixture!

My new go-to lighting!
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Timing couldn't have been better for this product, as I was in the process of renovating a bathroom. I decided to install the light in our shower. Installation couldn’t have been simpler, way easier than the older style halogen lights I have installed previously—no metal frames or difficult connectors. If you don’t have a hole saw large enough (4 ¼”) & are using a drywall knife, the cardboard around the light is a template, so take care when unpackaging not to damage it. The box size seems large…until you open it, the transformer inside occupies better than a third of the volume of the box, so there is not a lot of room inside. Fortunately, there are quick-connects inside the box, so wire-nuts are not required. Ensure you do not strip your wires too long. I really like the easy access to the light temperature switch behind the magnetic bezel—so easy to match up to existing lighting colour. With regards to the magnetic bezel, on the box it does mention black & stainless bezels are sold separately. These will be my new go-to lights now as we continue our renovations into the kitchen. I would definitely recommend these lights! Great job SPEX!!

Amazing light
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I installed this light a few weeks ago and it is fantastic!! I will be getting more. I love how it fits into existing boxes for a clean look after install. I used this light in my garage to replace the builders light. It fit right in the octagon box and was simple to install. The multiple face plates let’s you choose your style and the multiple light colour settings allows you to get the perfect light. I did not use the adapter to fit into existing pot lights but by looking at it I would imaging that would be easy to use as well. Great light!!

Great versatile light.

Included are easy to follow instructions for just about any scenario and 3 different cool magnetic covers that you can change with the room decor. The light colour settings are a very good touch as it let me customize the lighting exactly how I like it in this small hallway setting. Will buy more and make my home a brighter place.

An Attractive Light with Installation Flexibility
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I am thrilled with this LED light fixture. Not only was it easy to install (and gives you multiple installation options), but it has the unique capability of being able to switch between colour temperatures, ranging from 2700k to 5000k. The switch on the back of the fixture allows you to select between 5 colour temperatures. For my situation, I selected the 3000k setting which offered a perfect match to the existing 3000k pot lights in my basement.
For the installation, an adapter is provided to let you retrofit this LED into an existing recessed housing (4 inch) OR you can do as I did and install it directly into an existing octagon box. For my installation, I simply removed an old bulky light fixture and I was able to install this in a few minutes. Because the fixture is compact, it easily fit in my standard ceiling octagon junction box.
Another great feature with this light fixture is that 3 trim rings are included. These trim rings are metal and have a very solid feel, no cheap plastic here. You can pick between black, aluminum, and white, depending on your needs. I used the white trim ring to match my existing lights, and it couldn't be easier to attach the trim ring, as it is magnetic. Once you've installed the fixture, you simply place the trim ring and magnets hold it in place.
I would highly recommend this product as it feels like a high quality product and offers great installation flexibility. The LED energy savings is icing on the cake. I can see this being very useful for somebody wanting to take advantage of the energy savings of LED lighting in a retrofit application where old incandescent bulbs need to be replaced.
