The LED 4 in. Recessed Matte White Baffle Kit from Lithonia Lighting makes shopping for and installing recessed downlighting easy by conveniently including a 4 in. remodel housing, decorative trim with integrated LEDs, wire nuts and a cutting stencil all in one box. The energy efficient integrated LEDs operate for 28,000 hours without maintenance, which means you never have to buy or change a bulb. The kit can be converted to new construction using hanger bars and construction pan accessories.
  • 5000K LEDs produce light output of 500 Lumens (50-Watt incandescent flood equivalent) and are fully dimmable down to 10%
  • Energy Star qualified LED technology offers maximum energy efficiency and maintenance-free operation

Q:what do you do when the light bulb burns out?

Answer This Question

A:  The led light drops down out of the housing and unplugs. The new one would plug into the housing and slide back in. The light being led should last for many years.

    A:  We have used a lot of these over the last 5 years. If the LED fails, you can replace just the LED/trim portion and leave the can and wiring in place. Very simple swap out.

        A:  Yes. Easy installation. 4 1/8” drill hole drill bit. Makes it super easy. You can use some foam insulation from the attic side one you have them in place to seal and secure

          A:  No, this has an integrated LED bulb and it cannot be removed.

            A:  There isn't a lamp that can be swapped out. The LEDs are built directly into the fixture. I looked at several brands of recessed LEDs, and they were all made that way. You'll need to find a fixture that is the temp you want.

                  I used these same lights in a kitchen remodel and looked for them in a bathroom remodel. Home Depot no longer carried them in the store I’m sorry to say. I had to order them. They are led, wet rated and IC compliant. They work very well for any remodel project.
