This light is awesome! So bright!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the opportunity to try Lithonia Lighting - White LED High Bay Light, and it's so awesome. It's so bright! My husband works in construction and knows some electrical installation, but not certified. He bought a dishwasher power cord with plug and installed into this light and we can just plug it in. It's unbelievable how bright and how far reaching the light is. It's a great fixture for a dark garage. I highly recommend it!

This high output light works really well in my garage. It is well made of steel. It was easy to hang from the joists in my garage ceiling. It is LED powered, using just 83 watts of power, and giving off 2200 lumens of light. Working on the car, or any of the many other projects I do here in my garage are now much easier. Wiring it was easy using the handy junction box and connectors.

Two thumbs up! This "Integrated LED High Bay Light" is a really bright LED light array with low operating costs and minimal heat. It can be considered as a replacement for ceiling mounted florescent lights. I'm evaluating it for either the walk-in closet (no heat) in my master bedroom or my garage (bright light). The DIY instructions are on the back of the box, and will show you how to quickly and easily find the black, white, and green wires. [1] Remove knockout from back access plate [2] Remove the backplate, remove the twist tie and separate the wire [3] Make electrical connections (according to code!) and re-attach the back plate [4] Mount (mounting kit not included) However, consider hiring an electrician for warehouse or other commercial installations. There are many caveats and options in the accompanying 9-page documentation. Because the light can be mounted several ways, no mounting hardware is included. Actually, nothing else (even wire nuts) is in the box except the light fixture itself. PS: Did I mention this is an energy-efficient LED that is really really bright?

I am impressed by the amount of light that this fixture emits. It is lightweight, so it is easy to hang from any ceiling, although they didn't include any mounting hardware. It would have been nice if they included the brackets or hooks (or both) necessary to mount the light. The instructions explain several installation options, but honestly, I just need a simple option to mount to my garage ceiling. Providing the brackets would have saved me a trip back up to Home Depot. The wiring couldn't be easier. There is a silver access panel on the back that is secured with one screw. Inside are the live, neutral and ground wires needed to wire it. I connected a plug to mine so it can be plugged directly into a switched outlet in my garage. Overall, the light looks very nice and puts out a nice amount of light which is diffused a bit by the 'frosted' lens. I took some pictures, but it's really hard to capture how it really looks when lit...I assure you that it's bright. I'd recommend this light to anyone looking to add some bright light to their garage, barn or work area. It's a 'high bay' light, so you'd probably want to install it on a ceiling that is at least 10' high so the light covers a wider area. I love that it is low energy consumption, no flickering, no buzzing ballasts and that I won't have to worry about replacing bulbs.

The 83 watt white integrated high bay light fixture is my kind of light. It is compact at only two foot and is lightweight so one person can install it where they want it. It is ready to use with very few optional parts. The light is made to be suspended using the hanger holes or using one of several accessory hangers. The electrical connections are easy and there are complete instructions on various ways to hang and wire the unit. The light is extremely bright at 12000 lumens and yet compact. Light up where you want with this easy install LED light fixture.

    Works great but…
I now have three of these lights in my garages but I must still say buyer beware. These lights are incomplete. The instruction manual lists optional accessories, which I did not see in the store - the accessories should be next to the lights. The lights DID NOT include: 1) cable clamp: you will need a cable clamp if you don’t mount the base of the light directly to the ceiling or wall. The smallest package I could find in Home Depot was a package of five cable clamps. 2) power cord: While walking through the electrical isles I did not see power cables for this type of application. If you mount the light to a wall or ceiling at a power box you would not need a power cord, but then you have to disassemble the light to mount the base. If you hang the light and need a power cord all I could find was the use of a properly rated extension cord and cut one end off of the cord. 3) hanging hardware: contrary to what was written in another review, none of my three lights came with the hanging hardware, such as a chain or pre-shaped rods.

We are glad to know these high bay fixtures work great for your garage and for providing this feedback. First, please be aware that this IBE fixture is not recommended for surface mounting unless using surface mounting bracket (purchased separately.) Otherwise the fixture must be mounted at minimum of 18 inches below ceiling. Second, this fixture is meant to be hardwired and therefore does not have the labeling for use as a fixture with a "portable" cord and is not rated to be used as such. Also, modifying to add a power cord can effect the UL or other safety standards approvals and local code issues and void any warranties. Lastly, these fixtures should include a set of 36" hanger chains and we will be reporting this to the appropriate product development team to review. AcuityBrandsLighting

      Worked Fine For A While
Few years later the LED's quit one by one or in groups. I bought three light assemblies. Only one continues to work. I can not recommend this brand. They seem to be very cheaply made.
