does it take a hot and neutral wire?

Asked by: Carl
Yes, the CMR series sensor requires a neutral connection to operate. It will have two black wires and a white wire on the back of the device. The white wire is neutral, the black wires are interchangeable for line/load.

Can i use this on LED under counter lights its a small roll of tape lights 30 watts max. 120v reduced to 12v ??

Asked by: Jay
Thank you for your question! Unfortunately this sensor does require 120VAC to operate, so you would not be able to connect it to the 12V power directly, however it could control the line voltage going to a 12V transformer if that is what you are using to power the lights.

How many lumins?

Asked by: Customer
You must connect this switch to a light fixture. As it is a switch only, it does not output any light.
