I was wondering if this black post light is incandescent/solar powered?

AnswerHi, This fixture is not solar powered. Customers need to wire it to your electrical power system.

Agree with reviewer about instructions and chrome capnut. The finish is very thin and scrapes easily. Worse, the finish is getting white and crusty scale after only 5 weeks. Contacted Livex customer service and they said it is “Fungus.” Don’t think so. Returned.

This post lamp kit did include everything, but it's not the best quality. The aluminum is a little thinner than I'd like, the instructions are written poorly, and some of the construction is needlessly complicated. In particular, I was not happy with how the light covers were assembled. Apparently you need to thread the screw with one nut in until it stops part way, add the cover, and then add the cap nut. Lastly, the included concrete L anchors were not the same standard thread as the replacement wedge anchors I used since we poured the concrete first.
At the end of the day, I needed it quickly (old post broke unexpectedly) and it's still standing. Just know what you're getting.

The instructions for installation of the base and anchor bolts were incorrect and require modification. If the instructions are followed exactly you end up with the anchor bolts extending beyond the base approximately 1" which makes the cap nuts provided either useless or require spacers.
The anchor bolts, cap nuts and set screws are bright stainless steel which detracts from the finished appearance of a textured black finish.
With modifications to the above, the finished light looks good and performs well.
