Loctite Epoxy Instant Mix 5-Minute is a resilient, permanent 2-part adhesive consisting of an epoxy resin and a hardener for small projects that require the highest bonding strength. Can this be used to mount a soap dispenser to a plastic shower surround?

Does it work with HDPE?

Unfortunately, HDPE is known for being a difficult plastic to glue because of its “high abrasion resistance” and Loctite Instant Mix 5-minute Epoxy will not work on this material. Depending on the nature and size of your project or repair situation you might consider trying Loctite Plastics Bonding System which is designed for hard to bond plastics in small projects and repairs. Loctite does not offer a product for large projects involving HDPE.
