Loctite PL 500 Landscape Block Adhesive is an exterior, heavy-duty, premium quality adhesive designed to meet any landscaping need. Excellent for landscaping projects, such as securing block walls and capstones and for bonding brick, stone, timbers, concrete, metal and wood, Loctite PL 500 delivers a quick and easy solution to installing the final course of cap with landscape blocks and the installation of cement paving stones. This formula will bridge and fill minor gaps making it particularly effective when bonding irregular surfaces. With true all-weather application, PL 500 can be gunned directly onto wet and frozen lumber without rolling up as other construction adhesives do. Loctite PL 500 Landscape Block Adhesive formula may be used under a variety of moisture and temperature conditions ranging from 0°F to 100°F.

If I use this product to glue weed/landscape fabric to a crusher run pad or concrete pad, will it chemically degrade the strength of the fabric over time?
Thank you for your question. Loctite PL 500 Landscape Construction Adhesive is not recommended for the application described because most landscape fabrics are made from materials this adhesive does not adhere well to. There are special tapes or ground pins available on the market for your project.
Can it be used for veneer stone
Thank you for your question. Loctite PL 500 Landscape Construction Adhesive is not recommended for installing veneer stone on vertical surfaces without permanent mechanical support. Not all stone veneers can be glued up; some require a mortar thinset to be used. We recommend following the stone veneer manufacturer’s instructions for proper installation of their product.
Does it require a lot of force to push this product out of the 28 oz. tubes? I'm wondering if it makes sense to use a regular calk gun or to get a more expensive one with a high and regular "thrust ratio" setting.
Thank you for your question. Loctite PL 500 Landscape Construction Adhesive has a thicker viscosity so in general a good quality caulking gun with a high hand thrust ratio should be sufficient. If the product is difficult to extrude you may cut the nozzle opening larger or check the lot code to see if the product is still within the usable shelf life of 18 months from the date of manufacture (unopened). Can PL 500 be used to glue 1 1/4 inch thick travertine tiles to an exterior concrete walkway (northern Virginia). If not, is there another Loctite product that works for this?

Loctite PL 500 Landscape Block Adhesive is specifically designed for exterior landscaping projects on horizontal surfaces, such as installing the final course of caps with landscape blocks and for the installation of cement paving stones, but it is not recommended for traffic-bearing applications for safety reasons. A mortar-based product would be the better choice in this situation.
Can this be used to attach a resin lattice to a cinder block fence?

How do you remove this glue if needed?
Thank you for your question. Uncured adhesive residue can be immediately removed with acetone or mineral spirits. Cured adhesive may be carefully cut away with a sharp-edged tool.
My wall has a about 3/4"horizontal crack, 8 feet long from top to bottom, can this glue together to prevent it from splitting?
