A: If you pair a Lutron Caseta dimmer with this in/off Pico remote, the Caseta dimmer will go rapid on/off (fade). It won’t blink on/off. The dimmer switch is designed to fade on/off and never go straight to on/off
A: Hello! The Pico remote will do the same thing as the switch or dimmer that it is paired to. When pressing a button on the Pico remote, it sends a signal to your switch or dimmer, which then turns the lights on and off. If you still have questions or concerns, please give us a call at 1-844-LUTRON1. We're here 24/7, so you can reach out anytime, day or night.
A: It should work as an On-Off switch only. No dimming. However, you can set it in the Lutron Hub, to do 2 different commands. For example " on to 50%" and "Off" or just simply on and off. All the settings are in the hub's interface.
A: I have found out by doing a autopsy on a two-button remote and found the two-button remote has the same components inside as the dimming remote. The only difference was the two buttons on the four-button dimming switch just don't have anything on the inside to activate the dimming function. So basically, the two-button remote I had, did pair with the dimmer switch but you had no control of the dimming ability.
A: Hello! You can pair the PJ2-2B remote to the PD-3PCL Lamp Dimmer. From the PJ2-2B Pico remote you will only be able to turn the lights on and off, without having any dimming capabilities. If you would like a Pico remote with dimming capabilities, consider using the PJ2-3BRL! If you still have questions or concerns, please give us a call at 1-844-LUTRON1. We're here 24/7, so you can reach out anytime, day or night.
A: You can pair up to 10 Pico remotes to one dimmer/switch.
A: You will need one for each switch. The remote needs to be assigned to one switch inside the Lutron hub. From that point it will only control the switch that was assigned to.
A: Hello Dave, thank you for your question. One Pico remote can control two smart switches simultaneously, but if individual control of each in-wall switch is desired, one Pico for each will be necessary. You can pair up to ten Pico remotes to a single in-wall hard-wired Caseta device, and one Pico remote can control as many in-wall devices that are within its range, but however many switches that Pico is paired to, it will control those switches together, not separately. We hope this helps! If you require further assistance or would like to discuss further options, our 24/7 support team is here to help. We can be reached at 1-844-LUTRON1 or by email at email@example.com.
A: Pico remotes can be set up to control as many switches as you'd like. One pico can definitely control 2 Caseta switches.
A: You would need two remotes if you are only using the Lutron system. If you also purchase the Lutron hub and have a smart hub, you can create routines that if the associated light is turned off then turn the other light off.
