This systems is fantastic! Our drapes and window shades are also controlled by Lutron Caseta system, as is our house lights, Christmas tree, window candles, outdoor lights, etc. We control the system from our iPhone App as well as controllers. We have the App set to automatically turn on/off lights with sunset/sunrise. The system adjusts automatically daily based on sunrise/set. You do not have to do anything - your lights will come on, and drapes and shades close, at the appropriate time (sunset). I love the setting for when I pull out (or walk out) of the driveway, leaving the area, in the car or on foot (with iPhone) the designated house lights go off and when I pull back in the driveway the designated lights turn back on. This is the geofencing capability and it works perfectly. My husband no longer complains of me burning the lights unneccesarily! When we are out of town we use the App to change things up back home. We have the system connected with our Apple TV and interface using it as well. If we have a wifi or power loss the Castea system reconnects on it's own effortlessly! No hands on from us needed. My husband raves about how reliable Caseta is and how easy it was to set up and modify and use. We are very, very pleased with this system.

Works well but placement is key.
Works as intended and easy to set up. But beware of the distance. Basically it needs to be on the same floor as the switches you intend to control and within 20-25 feet. So make sure you have an Ethernet port within those parameters. Overall very happy as it works well once installed in the right spot. Also if you're replacing an older unit or have moved into a house with the correct switches but no smart hub you'll need to reset each switch. Call Lutron they are very helpful and will walk you through it.
