Q:I have a chandler connected to the switch and a spotlight that shines on the fireplace connected to the chandler. Will this switch allow me to control each light separately?

A: Hello! The DVRF-5NS is not a "Dual" switch, meaning it will control all of the lights that are connected to it simultaneously. If you wish to control different lights independently of one another, then each light would need its own light switch wired to it. Q:Considering using this switch to operate a recirculating pump to our bathrooms. I've reviewed the specs and it appears it should be fine. Looking for more input. The pump runs at . 22 Amps, and recommended supply current of 2.5A

Perfect for us

It has a remote which is a game changer for us so we could leave the hall light on while the kids go to sleep and then later we can turn off the light from our bed. It was easy to install. It looks great also. Could not be more pleased. Just need a few more

Easy to use

They also have great Costumer service help line to help you out to properly install their product. They help me step by step on how to hook this up right for my ceiling fan/light. Pretty cool

Then it comes with a remote which is really nice that you don’t have to go back and turn the light off just do it from your remote. I plan on getting these for the rest of my house.

Perfect as always from Lutron.

Works flawlessly as usual. Someone in the comments said they use aluminum wires. This is not true. They just solder the end of the wire. Wire itself is tinned copper. These are expensive but it's the best of the best. I just hope they eventually make a neutral not required version with the capacitor pack like they have for their standard Caseta on/off switch.

Easy to put

Easy-ish to install!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was about skeptical about this switch for a few different reasons. One, my house is old and I wasn't sure if it even had a neutral wire, which is required for the installation. And two, I've always used smart bulbs and never an actual smart switch. My first worry was eased once I got the switch plate off for the original switch and realized that my house does, in deed, have a neutral wire. Once that was established and out of the way everything else was smooth saíling and the installation was a breeze. My next worry was because I'd never used a smart switch before. The smart bulbs I've been using have started getting laggy. I can tell Alexa to turn the light off or on and it sometimes takea up to a full minute to respond. Since installing this switch in my bedroom, I haven't had this issue anymore. I can just use the remote and turn the light off or on from bed. I plan to continue transitioning from my current smart bulbs to smart switches. Once I make the switch to all switches I'll probably invest in the hub as well so it can be voice activated.
