Is there an On-Off Override switch? And does this switch require a ground? The ground I have is to the gem box, and has NOT worked with your other Sensors. I was told that this Sensor does not require a ground.
The MSCL-OP153M is rated to control screw-based or recessed trim LEDs. Lutron cannot guarantee compatibility with LED tube lighting. There are occupancy sensor switches, such as the MS-OPS5M, that would be compatible but lack a dimming feature.
No, it can't communicate other than with the same style of switch for three-way and four-way operation.
No, this is my main complaint with this switch. It has the dimmer feature, but the lights always come on (via the motion sensor, anyway) at full brightness and instantaneously. Totally defeats the purpose I had for buying this switch.
Yes
When motion is detected, the light turns on to the previous setting. Which would be 50% based on your description.
No.
You can choose how long lights remain on in the settings. The installation instructions that came with the switch has the procedures to adjust settings or you can watch the official Lutron YouTube instructions.
Yes
Yes. Our dogs turn it on all the time but you can program the amount of time it stays on so....
