Your dimmer switch may be faulty, but before you do anything else, check the following: Be absolutely sure that you have connected the wires according to the instructions; that is the black wire to the house back wire and the white to the house wire and the ground wire must also be connected. You also need to make sure that you adjust the dimming adjusting dial on the side of the dimmer also according to the instructions. This adjust the dimmer to the specific bulbs you are using and is important ti get the full range of dimming. Lastly, make sure each wire connection is tight. This can be easily over looked especially when using plastic wire nuts.

Will this work without the red wire (I guess called 2 way)?

For 3-way applications (two switches controlling the same light), all the wires on the dimmer will be used. You can see an illustration of the wiring here for the CTCL-153P: https://www.lutron.com/TechnicalDocumentLibrary/368-4493_Page_5.pdf.

This dimmer is rated for 120 volts ac current. Your 10 volt lights will not work with this dimmer.

Can this dimmer switch compatible to 220V? If not pls show me some that is compatible with some outlets also. Thank you

Specs on this product are for 115 to 120V installations, not 220V. I'd call electrical supply for proper guidance with 220V.

Do these work with ceiling fans w/lights?

Any dimmer is a voltage control device, that is to say, it reduces voltage to load/device. A motor is designed to work on a voltage and frequency to produce/induce a current in rotor. By reducing voltage, a motor will run slower but it still needs that rotor current to produce counter electro-magnetic force.(EMF). That 3-way switch on pull chain controls which capacitor is used to "phase-shift" voltage to control speed. It will appear to work but I think it will lead to premature failure of fan motor!

About 90% sure it's just the packaging. I know I asked a Lutron tech about something similar and that's what he told me.

Works well
Easy to dim vs the dimmers with the tiny notch on the right that break here n there. I really liked the look and feel of this one. If you're not ok with a smaller "on and off" switch then you may want another one.

Obnoxious Buzzing sound random flickering
After installing an outlet switch combo I decided to tackle a dimmer for my bathroom. If you follow the instructions which could have been more clear you should be able to install it with ease. None of the wires are labeled properly in the instructions or on the unit itself. They are labeled by color but that does not tell you which is the live or hot line, what is the load, and what is the neutral. The only one that was easy to figure out was the ground because it was green. This does not wire like a regular switch, it did not even go to neutral and I had to wirenut and tape it, as well as the red white wire on the unit itself. If you take a multi-meter and test which lines are your line and load beforehand, that would make installing this easier. After installation which was much faster with wirenutting and taping as opposed bending and breaking wires trying to curl around a screw. After the installation; the dimmer worked - I had LED bright white lights already in there and I was not sure if they were dimmable since I received them from my utility company. Needless to say, they were dimmable or were being dimmed appropriately without a drop off in power. I purchased the THD Ecosmart Dimmible Day Light LEDs and they make a buzz or humming sound anytime the switch is on, whether on full power or dimmed - it does not matter. They also randomly flicker. I did not hear the buzzing sound after installation as the door was open; but once you close that door and you are in a small room - it is very loud. It is driving me crazy, not to mention the flickering is probably killing the LED bulb since they have an electric driver that controls the power as opposed to old school incandescent which just take less power. From researching online; even for compatible LEDs will have an acceptable buzzing in accordance to your proximity to the fixture which is a load (pun intended). So far from what I have found but have not made the jump; is you need to install an ELV Dimmer. An Electric Low Voltage Dimmer is 4-5 times the price at least according to THD and Lutron makes one - I am talking about upwards of $125 or more. I will probably return this dimmer, try a different brand and or model to see if it resolves the buzzing. If it does not - for sanity sake I might have to spend over $100 on an ELV Dimmer that is actually LED compatible. Too bad the THD app does not allow video submissions so you can all hear the buzzing and see the random flickering.

Seeds Program Review
(What's this)
As soon as you unpack these and compare them to anything you have used before it becomes obvious that these are different for the better. They connect easily starting with the way that they feel and of cours ethe way that they fit. Three ways can be confusing but the way these are color coded it make childs play out of the set up even if this is your first time putting a three way light switch in.
