The Skylark Contour Fan Control is designed to conveniently set the speed of a ceiling fan. The control features a rocker switch to turn the ceiling fan on and off and a captive slide knob for fan speed control. Provides control of one ceiling paddle fan and 3 quiet fan speeds provide increased comfort. The control fits in large designer style openings for quick and easy installation and coordinates with the Skylark Contour dimmers and controls line. Coordinating Claro wall plates purchased separately.

It's brown & good looking
Finally found a brown switch and also bought the matching 600W light dimmer. They look great together with an upgraded wall plate also from Home Depot.

Great product! Doesn't work with CFL's
This lightswitch was very affordable looks great and easy to use. It however does not dim with CFL's. As advertised. I will be taking it back off and buying another one that actually does work with CFL's. I would recommend this product to anyone that is not using CFL's

Functionally well-designed
When our old fan control fried itself out, I ended up replacing fan controls throughout the house to be on the safe side. This Skylark model was the perfect fit in terms of design and functionality. Easy installation and smooth operation versus the original controls that came with my ceiling fan, which was a clunker. A+ all around!

Product says it is a three speed switch. However, it only operates the fan on a very low speed and a medium speed when turn to high speed it turns off the fan.

We're sorry to hear about the issue you experienced with the CTFSQ-FH control. Some fans have a built-in module or limiter that can't be controlled by other manufacturer's controls. We suggest you contact the fan manufacturer to find out if your fan can be controlled by a third-party fan control, such as the CTFSQ-FH.

Excellent!
This fan switch worked great but had to modify it by cutting off the tabs to the left for it to be placed properly in the faceplate. The switch itself has an indentation at the middle position of the slider. The on-off switch has a high quality feel to it. Installation would have been very easy if it weren't for the modification. Instructions were very easy to follow. Just make sure to turn off the power to the switch before starting.
