This thermostat never worked properly therefore causing motor/fan damage to our newly installed condenser. We bought Honeywell that came recommended by home depot HVAV technician but home depot doesn't want to take back LUX product without receipt or packaging. I called LUX company at 856-234-7905 but they refuse to take it back.

Our original (cheap contractor model) 5 year old LUX had a flip panel to access the buttons- and would change or lose the settings when the panel was closed, so we had to leave the panel open creating an eyesore. Not confident with this brand, but this model had great reviews, no flip panel and the mounting holes and wires matched exactly so I made the purchase. 30 minute install and has worked great during one air condition season and one heating season. The back panel illuminates (blue) when touched, but then greys out when idol.

On a previous thermostat I had I could turn on the scheduled temperatures or turn them off easily. You have to press the home button to change temperature, but once the achieve temperature is made it does not reset to the scheduled temperature. Other than that it seems to be working fairly well.

Easy to mount. Easy set up and easy to program. I like it lights up to see to adjust then goes back out. Big letters to see on old eyes. Lol. Works great.

Almost Perfect
I liked all the features of this thermostat but the big issue i have is when you press it and the backlight turns on it starts hummimg noticeably until the backlight turns off. Im going to be returning it because of that
