The wheels will not mark up an epoxy painted floor. That's why you use epoxy paint. Mine is also painted and no marks.

The legs do not secure permanently to the trays. If you accidentally lift by the tray, the cart comes apart. What is the best way to secure the legs to the trays? Screws? Glue?

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the legs. If you use a rubber pallet to tap the shelves into the legs they should secure without using screws.....
