AnswerThank you for your interest in Luxor products. If you choose not to install the wheels it will still sit flat, however if you wish to move the desk it will not be as easy without the casters

This product is very sturdy and relatively easy to assemble. It suggests having two people put it together but I did it myself. Due to the weight of the table it took a few hours by myself but it is doable. Only issue I have is with the base. I put the rollers on so I could easily move the table and due to that the base is off the ground. The edges aren't razor sharp but they aren't cushioned either and my feet are constantly getting scratch when I turn to stand up. The black tips on the base that are shown in the picture didn't come with my order. Other than that I'm happy with the quality.

This desk is working out great for working at home! It was fairly simple to put together. While it has a spacious desktop, it doesn't seem to take up too much space. I like it has the option to have the wheels on or not. So far the manual crank is working well to move it up & down, depending if I'm standing or sitting. It seems like a good quality desk. I'm so happy with it & so is my back :)
