AnswersI'm using Brome SquirrelBuster Plus Model 1024-V01 as bird feeder. This works great. It protects from squirrels and large birds. Only advice secure the top lid with a strong duck tape as the squirrels will eventually learn to unscrew them trying to steal. As long as the squirrels can't reach the top lid portion of this feeder(use a pole baffle), then you have 100% protection. You'll have no complaints at all. Try it out!

If you are looking to attract Bluejays, Redheaded and Redbellied Woodpeckers than this is the food you want to get. Tufted Titmice also enjoy it. It is mostly different types of nuts with very little sunflower seeds or fruit. It does contain some cracked corn which my birds won’t touch but I just throw that on ground when everything else is consumed and the doves and squirrels clean up. This is the only food I’ve found that’s practically all nuts. Even a particular store that specializes in bird stuff has a nutty food that barely has any nuts and is double the price. I feed this in an open tray feeder purchased from Home Depot so it’s easy for these large birds to perch. Well recommended and I will continue to buy. Only negative is not available in store, have to buy online.

I'm always looking for good, quality bird food for my feeders. I'm tired of the cheap food with the majority of it being fillers, the birds brush off the feeders.
This bird food is like a big box of trail mix. Pour it in a bowl with some milk or mix with yogurt and I'm set.
This food looks amazing.
After filling my feeders with this food, there was almost a line waiting for a stool at the local diner.
Birds just plopped themselves down and didn't move.
Overall, this food is as high quality as I've ever come across. It cost a bit more, but it's evident once you look at the contents...Nothing but quality food.
The birds love this stuff...Problem is, they eat it too fast!

This is a fantastic mix for attracting some of the most elusive birds to your yard. The mix attracts many of the types of woodpeckers here in North Carolina: the red-bellied, the downy, the hairy woodpecker, the sapsucker, even the Northern flicker.
I put this out in a pan feeder tray. The woodpeckers will use the pan; often they hang halfway off the side with their tails propped up underneath to peck at the nuts.
The black-capped chickadees also really dig this mix.
Right now, it's fall, and the migrants are passing through, as well. There is so much activity at this pan of high-protein mix because it's going to give them the energy they need to make their way to their winter grounds.
Grab this bird seed for any time of year.

First thing I noticed when I opened the bag was that it actually looked like a snack mix I might eat myself (grin). It has peanuts, cashews, almonds, pecans, pistachios, dried cherries, cranberries and raisins (all good sized). I get a good variety of birds in my back yard, so it will be interested to see if I get anything different due to this mix of nuts, seeds and fruit. My only concern is if this will work with my current bird feeder … this morning I did see a slew of bird on the feeding enjoying their new/improved smorgasbord of seed/fruit.

This stuff looked so good I thought I could eat myself. So far it has attracted, Blue jays , cardinals, woodpeckers, brown doves, { I think they might be wrens] and robins. And of course the squirrels. We live in Florida so eventually we know this list will get bigger. This is by far the best bird food I have ever tried. We have a big yard and really love how this attracts the birds. I tried feeding the ducks but they only ate the corn and walked way in a huff. You can't please every bird with this mix. We faired better with the Peacock who ate more of it.

I just received my bag of Lyric fruit and nut high energy wild bird food and immediately put it in one of my feeders. Within a short time I saw a woodpecker feeding. This is a very high quality birdseed. It contains shelled peanuts, corn, sunflower kernels, black oil sunflower seeds, almonds, pecans, pistachios, cashews, shelled pumpkin seeds, dried cherries, dried cranberries and raisins. Actually it seems good enough for humans to eat(I didn't) It is formulated to appeal to a wide variety of birds. The bag is resealable, an added plus. I recommend this birdseed.

WOW !! This bird feed mix could pass as a great "Trail Mix" but not for humans !!
The mix consists of: Peanuts, Corn, Sunflower seeds, Almonds, Pecans, Pistachios,
Cashews, Pumpkin seeds, (all shelled) and dried Cherries, Cranberries and Raisins !
The mix is chopped up but not so small as to fall through screen feeders ! I highly recommend
this bird feed !!!

Well, it’s gone within a day or so, so I’m thinking the birds are loving it!
I live in New England and I have seen Downey woodpeckers, dark eyed juncos, flycatchers, chickadees, blue jays, robins and cardinals (to name a few) coming to the feeder. Great times all around!
