0.75 in. x 10 ft. Gray Foam Window Seal for Ex-Large Gaps Weatherstrip Roll

It seems to working well to block draft AND noise. The .75in. dimension was a tad 'shy' of covering my gap, completely, but I think a full inch width would have been too wide.

Used around the edges of back door. To fill the the gaps for air or bugs. But It won't stick to the side of the wood. No matter how many times it reposition, it keeps falling down..

After looking for a replacement gasket from the cooktop manufacturer and realizing that it was stupid expensive($40+), I started looking for alternatives. This window seal is working great! I was dubious at first because my countertop and cooktop are dark gray/black and the seal is light gray. I could definitely see it and it wasn’t cosmetically pleasing at first. After a couple days it fully compressed. It’s invisible and my cooktop doesn’t budge.

I ordered the M-D Building Products 3/8 in. X 17 ft. Foam Weatherstrip because I am making face shields for healthcare workers dealing with the Covid-19 virus. I am doing this with a group of volunteers, and we are supplying both masks and face shields. The Weatherstrip works beautifully as the first layer of cushioning because the adhesive side of the tape is very easy to apply to an 8 1/2" X 11" piece of transparency film. The next layer applied is another product I bought from Home Depot: M-D Air Conditioner Weatherseal. Using double-sided adhesive tape, I attach a layer of the 1 1/4" thick foam to the weatherstripping. A 1" band of elastic is attached to go around the back of the head. The weatherstripping and the foam make a nice cushion for the healthcare workers' skin while protecting their eyes and face from contaminants they might be exposed to. The hospitals and groups we have donated to have really appreciated them, especially when some of the protective gear is so hard to get. I applied this for 2 doors (the door frames). The next day when I opened they doors a good part of the foam came off the door frame and stuck to the doors. When I peeled it off the doors part of the foam film stuck to the doors and ruined the door finishes. The doors were painted 3 years ago so the foam (non-sticky side) should not have stuck to the 2 doors. Also I applied the Foam sticky side to the door frames and went up and down pushing the foam inch by inch with my finger to make sure it adhered good to the door frames. This product worked terrible on 2 doors (coming off when I opened the doors a day later).

I had a Helmet (for costume/ cosplay purposes) that needed Lining/ Padding inside. and Foam Weather strip tape did quite a nice job for it. The helmet i used is not meant for Protective use, *I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU DO THIS FOR ACTUAL PROTECTION. I placed the foam in a Parallel pattern inside the helmet. so now my Replica helmet fits snug. again, this will not make your helmets safer! The Tape/adhesive isnt strong, so you may want to apply double sided tape or glue to keep it on

Not very sticky on the tape side. Poor adhesive.

Good product, but would be better if adhesive backing stuck better. I was trying to seal a small, rounded opening, which meant bending the foam quite a bit. For a rectangular window, it should work fine.
