First score through adhesive strip with razor knife, then cut aluminum with hack saw or abrasive wheel.

Put a thin bead of Liquid Nails along face of stair tread for additional strength and stability.

Redoing my steps, and find this Spice edging to adhere well and match my tiled wall to a "T". Be very careful when placing after removing strip....it's very hard to remove. It was easy to cut as well. I used the Wiss 9 in. Curve-Cut Tin Snip, purchased from HD. I'm A senior citizen and did all of this by myself. Removed carpet, sanded and painted steps (going for the 2 tone look). Also placed the Honey Oak Panels purchased from HD as well. Yes I'm patting myself on the back.....lol !!
