These slats are very flimsy plastic. The whole box of slats is lightweight. Individual slats are flexible and easily cut with tin snips. Because of this, these slats are easy to install. If your chain link is fairly straight, they go in quickly. If you have a top bar, that can get in the way of getting a slat started, or sliding it down into place. If you are using the lock guide rail at the bottom, the slats only go one direction, because the guide only has the lock tab on one side. You can reverse the guide rail to flip the slats. You don't need to use the bottom guide, but it can help to keep things in place. I used these slats for a 3 ft tall fence, so I got about 20 linear ft from it. Since you only get 10 ft of guide rail, half of mine didn't use the bottom rail. It's been weeks with a lot of wind and rain, and none of the slats have moved. Privacy is good, especially at a distance. These slats are a decent price and easily installed. Hopefully, they will last. Time will tell.

Better than expected.
I was getting sick of looking at the bamboo screens I had wired to my chain link fence and I started exploring other privacy options. These fence slats seemed to be the best price per foot. Of course it's not 100% private but it sure helps a lot and they actually look much nicer than I had anticipated.
For installation I inserted most of the slats first, then added the bottom barrier after. It felt easier that way, but that may just be me.
Also of note, my order arrived in three days, despite the expected delivery time of 2-3 weeks. I just ordered five more boxes to finish the second half of the yard.

Really good product and simple to install
I moved into a new home with chain link fencing on a rather busy street so I needed privacy asap. Didn't want to spend a ton of money on new fencing so the privacy slats were a great solution. Installation was easy but took a long time (I had 80 ft to cover). Well worth it.
