After doing a Google search, I found out that Home Depot also sells a Frost King hot water heater blanket that fits up to a 60-gallon hot water tank and has a rating of R-10. Asked by Sunshine January 2, 2018Yes. As long as you do not get it within a couple inches of the flue pipe up on top and leave an opening around the burner access like the instructions show you will be fine.

Can this blanket be used on a smoker to maintain heat?
Asked by Jo August 17, 2017I would be concerned that the high heat of the smoker would melt the plastic cover.
