A: I have no experience with using them on a concrete wall, so I suggest that you contact the manufacturer in regard to that. I think they make them with a flatter base strip to install on top of a flat surface. The ones I installed were curved to accommodate the curve of the top pole of a chain-link fence. It is a great product, easy to install and has been very effective in discouraging intruders from coming over our fence.
A: Yes, as long as the top is pretty flat. It’s about 1 to 1.5 inches wide and I used glue but it would be better to secure it with screws as the glue does not seem to hold it. The spikes are not very pointy but will do the trick.
