      A:  It is freestanding. It is heavy but is designed to be pulled away from the wall for maintenance. I would recommend a way to access the back easily and check for leaks. There are many internal parts back there.

        Worth the wait!
        It took our contractor about 3 months to finally get around to putting the shower together but it was well worth the wait. It has a lot of cool features like the foot massager, body jets and my favorite the steam engine. Have used it about 5 times now.
