After seeing this door at a friends house, I decided to purchase it to replace the door leading t...
After seeing this door at a friends house, I decided to purchase it to replace the door leading to our basement. The door comes with a protective paper on each window pain that needs to be removed after you paint it. The door is primed, but still needs to be painted. The install of the door was rather easy and we decided to paint it white with a trim paint. It was not until we starting removing the protective paper, once the door was hung and painted that we noticed that many of the pains had little cracks in them. I have attached pictures to show the little cracks in a few of the pains. I am so frustrated because their is no way to see them until after the door is hung, painted and the paper is removed. The door was not cheap and at this point I will be contacting Home Depot as to what the next steps are. The door itself looks great, but really frustrated for the price that their are numerous hairline cracks throughout the door.

This is better than what I thought. The door is super smooth and easy to install. It is well primed. The coolest thing is that each individual glass pane are protected with a plastic film on both sides. This made it so easy to apply 2 coats of paint. You can cut the film with a sharp razor blade after and done.

Was a little concerned taking it out of the box with the entire door bring white and not initially figuring out we had to remove the protective film from the glass. Once that was completed, it was excellent - just what was needed! Thanks a million for such great work and speed in getting it shipped to the store for pickup.

I ordered this door to put into a circa 1960's home to separate a front formal sitting room from the kitchen and the rest of the house. This door was perfect! Everyone who has been in the house since it was installed has thought it was original. The door is well built, the glass is covered with a film that makes it easy to paint. You will need a razor blade to cut around each pane to remove it, so don't be surprised by that.
