This size towel bar is hard to find and the prices are outrageous. I bought this and used the brackets that I already had. Pros: 1.Price 2. Size- big enough to hold 2 towels Cons: 1. Only available online- if you are already placing an order then add this in 2.Thin metal- I inserted a 1/2" dowel inside before mounting to keep it from getting bent.

We bought the longer bar as the towel rack we purchased was only available in 24 inches and we wanted it to span the same distance as our old bar. This was easy to swap out and works fine. It does spin a bit, so if that bothers you, put a little silicone sealant in the end before attaching to the wall.

DIY 30-Inch Towel Bar
Moen doesn't sell this in a package or in stores, so to make it you have to buy the 18-inch bar and throw the 18" bar-tube away and use the end-pieces and the 30-inch bar from on-line.
Measure three times and drill/screw once. Fortunately with a 30-inc bar it's somewhat easier to hit studs that are on 16-inch centers.

The product is an exact match to what our builders Installed.
We bought 4 towel bar posts and a long towel bar. We cut the bar in half and installed Each one above our existing long towel bar so we can hang washcloths Above the towels.

This bar was delivered as expected. Unfortunately, it did not fit with our Moen Eva ends. I did not read in the description that it only was for specific Moen products.
