Grab bar was essential for me to easily use commode. Extra length facilitates use with oval shaped bowl. Reinforcement in walls for mounting bracket is necessary to utilize heavier weight design. Very happy with result of installation. Do not use paper holder, not necessary for this bathroom design.

This is an outstanding product that serves the condition when a water closet is not located next to a wall, such as when it is between the tub and vanity. It is very stable and is not attached to the floor, but it requires 6 lag bolts which probably means using a surface wood plate which can be attached to at least one stud. Ordering and delivery were fast. Installation took awhile, but that was because of existing conditions. The flip up and paper holder both work well.
