Solid upgrade!
After many years, had claustrophobia cabinet (shower doors) removed & this bar installed. Loving the change this makes. The bath feels so much bigger and a shower curtain adds both pattern & color. Thanks to gold being available, I was able to match existing fixtures, too.

I found these reviews helpful when shopping for a curved shower rod, so here's mine. I had no problem with it - delivery was fast enough, it installed just as advertised, looks fine, and has been glitch-free in use for daily shower over the couple weeks since. Generic comment: I love a curved shower rod, it's a huge improvement over the straight one (which didn't go to waste; I relocated it slightly to become a second rod to act as a drying bar, which is great to have). I was new to the drywall anchors that came with this rod, but a little common sense, advice from knowledgeable hardware store help, and/or a little internet search on the subject should make it plain enough, it's really not rocket science. Just take your sweet time and proceed slowly and deliberately, double and triple check your measurements, and any/all little mysteries will eventually dissipate.

This turned out great. The hardest part was drilling through the tile. You have to get a special carbide bit to do it and need to watch some YouTube videos on how to do it without cracking the tile. Use the patterned provided to drill the holes.

Going strong at three weeks!
I was unsure about buying a curved shower curtain rod because of the size of our bathroom, but I couldn't find a straight rod that was both adjustable and fixed, i.e., not a tension rod. Our contractor installed the rod (hence my "excellent" rating for ease of installation), and it looks great even in our small bathroom.
