how do I install grab bars without using studs ,and get the same support as mounting in studs?
Asked by bob March 3, 2021Hello bob and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The Moen Align 18 in. Grab Bar in Chrome features secure mount hardware designed for installation into a stud. The Moen SMA1015CH SecureMount Anchors are recommended for use in nonstud (hollow-wall) applications per installation instructions. The SecureMount Anchors are old separately.
