I'm not exactly sure what happens when the light burns out, but I'd start with the batteries and see if they are out of energy. If not the batteries, i'd call MOEN or visit their website and I'm sure you can order a new one. Moen is pretty good at supplying parts from my past experiences. Good luck to you.
The batteries supply the LED lights and nothing else. There, is no option for the LED lights to be plugged in, they need the batteries.
How loud something is, is a subjective question. What I think is quiet may drive you nuts. It is quieter than the 23 year old, 1/2 hp Emerson I removed. You can add acoustic tile to your cabinet if you think it is too loud, I just turn down my hearing aide when something or somebody is too loud.

stainless steel is a high nickel content alloy, corrosion resistant lower carbon steel and galvanize is a corrosion resistant coating for carbon steel. ss costs more. But galvanize is a very durable material, look at all the gray colored metal buckets, they are galvanized steel and they are last a long time.

It can be, sure - it’s just an appliance. But it’s generally recommended to not use a disposer with septic as regular use could overload the septic system, not to mention that some things you might run down a disposer aren’t handled well by septic.
