It uses a weight on the flexible hose. If the weight is too low it will not dock. If the weight is too high you will not get much extension. Ensure the weighted portion of the hose is free of "under sink" clutter so it will move down freely!!!

Kitchen faucet - Deck Plate installation.
The valve itself works fine. The spray features work better than similar models by other manufacturers installed in family members houses. The bad news comes in with the deck plate. The finish looks good but the coating simulating Brushed Nickel has pealed off/chipped and looks terrible. I have removed the plate to try and replace but there are no replacement parts at Home Depot for this item. We do not used any caustic chemicals when cleaning the faucet & sink. I would recommend using this product for an under-mount sink installation without the deck plate.

I am disgusted by the quality of this faucet. If I could have given it a -10 rating, I would have. We have had nothing but problems with it ever since we purchased it. It saddens me because I thought Moen's products were of good quality, but have found that I either have a defective product or your products are not of good quality. I find it disturbing because we had our last faucet for 12 years. I know because we bought it when we moved into our new-to-us house and had to replace the kitchen faucet right away. The American Standard faucet we had for 12 years was much better quality. We never had the problems that we have with the new Moen product. Here are all the problems that we have had with this faucet over the past 3 years: First of all, the finish. Almost since the beginning the finish started coming off the base. I never even used soap or any cleaners on it because I read the instructions and it said not to. So I didn't. Even though I wasn't totally comfortable with it, I used water only to clean the faucet, but still the finish is degrading and keeps degrading over the time we have had it. It's a kitchen faucet and it SHOULD be durable. I have attached a picture of how horrible it looks. It is peeling and discolored. Second of all, the handle. It comes loose all the time. We have to CONSTANTLY tighten it. It is very aggravating when it gets in this loose state. You can't change the temperature of the water very easily when it does this. We have to tighten it at least once a month, sometimes more often. Third, the hose started leaking and we had to purchase a new one on September 12, 2017 . And finally, and probably most aggravating is the latest problem. The water aerator in the middle of the end of the hose just fell out the other day and I see no way to replace it. I also don't see any way to purchase a new one to put in there. It is most aggravating because every time we turn on the water, we forget and get the full force of water going into the sink and then back into our faces! I feel like every time I use it, I've taken a shower from all the splash on me. My kids have been complaining about it, as well. I find ALL of these problems unacceptable for a practically new kitchen faucet. Our old American Standard lased 12 years without all of these aggravating issues. I remember one time replacing the wand. I called them and they sent me a new one, no receipt or proof of purchase needed. I realize that your policy is warranty with a proof of purchase. I don't have my receipt. I have looked everywhere for it and can't find it. It probably would be faded by now anyway, as my receipts from that time period are faded. I do have the slip that came with the faucet when I purchased it. I will continue looking for the receipt, but I don't really have high hopes of finding it anymore. I am trying to find my credit card statement with it on there, but that is taking time to obtain. I dug out the box the faucet came in, and it isn't in there. I don't see a replacement for the aerator for the end of the wand. Is there such a part available or do you have to replace the whole wand? I hope this isn't the case as I am already so disgusted by this whole purchase. I always thought that Moen products were high quality, but my experience so far has been completely the opposite. If I have to purchase a whole new end piece just to replace the aerator, I will spend the money on a new faucet of a different brand. I already had to purchase a new hose which I found terrible for a practically new faucet. I will not spend that much money on an already defective faucet. I will put that money toward a new faucet of a different brand and never purchase anything with the Moen name on it again. It took me a long time to decide on this particular faucet and to purchase from your company. I spent a lot of money on it and expected a high quality product. I don't believe that is what I have received. Your motto is Buy it for looks. Buy it for life. Well, I bought it for looks and now it looks like crap. I bought it for life, but I can't wait to get rid of it because it looks and works like crap. I also find it disturbing that I contacted Moen two weeks ago about all this, and although I was assured of a reply within 48 hours, I have yet to hear from them.

Beautiful, well-made faucet. I did a great deal of research prior to purchasing this faucet and couldn't be happier with the final outcome. I wanted something low maintenance and not too bulky looking. Some faucets look entirely too large for the area. This one is just right! Definitely resists spots, heavy duty construction and reasonable price for the look. Highly recommend!

Went through 2 in one week....
First one leaked from handle after 3 days. Returned and exchanged for the same model. That one leaked the same! called Moen and requested call back as they were experiencing high call volume. wonder why...they never called back. Oh well. Going with anything but Moen this round. Only plus is it's easy to install and disconnect as I have done it more often than I can count now....check out pic of leak, may need to zoom in. Oh, took the set screw and nothing to adjust to repair..Garbage!

My 30 year old faucet blew up and washed my face so off to HD I go. After an excruciating hour yesterday of of testing faucets, I came home with this one, because - the sprayer fits my hand and the slight flare at the bottom should keep it in my hand if wet and slippery. The buttons on the sprayer feel positive, easy to locate, and are covered with rubber. There is enough room between the faucet and handle to in slip a cookie dough covered hand and use the back of my hand to push it on. The sprayer and the arm materials match well. I installed the faucet quickly, I did need to have my husband cut off a portion of the mounting bracket to make it fit our double sink configuration. Supply lines long enough to reach your valves are already attached, no extra connection needed. Bought matching hole fillers for extra sink holes. The Power Clean water pressure is very good as I had hoped. The spray returns to the faucet quickly. I think the only thing that I might wish different is that it stay on spray when I turn it off rather than switching back to stream, but I will adjust. All in all I am happy.

Beautiful faucet with elegant looks and well designed functional handle and sprayer control. The sprayer return could be improved some as it depends on a weight on the hose to return it to its home position and as the hose is centered in the sink it bumps into the waste line which is also centered. Also, a magnetic catch for the sprayer head would be another inexpensive improvement. Overall though we are happy with the faucet looks and functionality.

I purchased the unit after reading the reviews, and to that, I say thank you. The hardest part of installing this unit, was removing the existing faucet and sprayer, then removing the rust and old calking, that had been applied to the base. I did that using 400 grit sand paper, followed by buffing it with the car buffer. Following the directions, proved to be logical, easy and productive. The faucet moves easily and the nozzle returns smoothly to the stem and the controlling level is very easy to operate. The only challenging part of operating this unit is becoming acclimated to it. I find myself still "looking" for the control lever of the old unit. When it came to the rate of flow I removed the "filter" (a.k.a. flow restrictor) from the end of the nozzle supply tubing. The soap dispenser was a little hard to secure, but once in place is easy to fill and operate.
