Can this grab bar be installed into the Sterling Shower Ensemble Model # K-72120100-0 ?

AnswersIf you have the shower kit with the age-in-place backers or have installed supports behind that kit, then I would guess that the answer would be Yes. I assume that most grab bars would work with that shower kit since it is supposed to allow for grab bar installation.

AnswersI believe it is 250 Lbs, but since it was able to be installed into 2 studs (one at either end of the bar), I think it probably could handle more than that.
The Moen website shows an anchoring system that does not use the studs for support. Does the grabbar you supply come with Moen"s anchoring system?

AnswersIt comes with wood screws to attach to studs only. The brackets have flexible spacing and we were able to get at least 2 screws into studs. Moen's anchors would need to be purchased separately.

Nice looking grab bar, but really awful finish. It can't stand contact with soap!! Bought first grab bar in 2008. Moen replaced it under warranty in 2010. Again was replaced in 2011. it has been peeling off again for several years. I have not contacted Moen again since 2011 but I can't stand the look of it anymore!! Would like to know why if everybody is complaining about the same thing, they have not improved the quality of the finish over the years. Same finish, same awful quality for more that 10 years!!

I have had this bar in my shower since 2011 and should have replaced it long ago.
The covering has peeled off in several locations and leaves a white material showing, This started happening in the 2nd year I had it. I must replace it. All my other Moen products have lasted very well.

This grab bar is a great addition to provide safety in my shower without the clinical appearance seen with so many other other bars. It is attractive and is a very solid substantial weight piece and mounting hardware was included.
What grab bar? looks like a towel rack

When updating bathroom, we decided to make it a bit more accessible. However, we did not want the bathroom to look like we made it accessible. One item we included was this grab bar/towel rack. My husband had knee trouble, so it was important that he have something he can grab onto. Our old 80's bathroom had a towel rack in the same location. We also use it to hang damp wash cloths etc.
Out contractor did add additional bracing when prepping the area. This thing is going nowhere. Love it.
