I really love this shower chair and would absolutely recommend it. What drew me to it was the curved supportive back and curved seat. Those qualities make it different than most of the other chairs on the market. It's very sturdy and the mesh seat is very comfortable. It reminds me of what you might find on patio furniture. I like this chair because instead of hard uncomfortable plastic, the materials it's made of have more give and move with your body which makes it painless to sit on, unlike other shower chairs with backs that I've tried. The feet of the chair have good rubber on them so I don't worry about it moving around much. I didn't attach the arms as I don't need them right now, but they are a nice feature to have. It's a lot bigger/bulkier than than the standard little bench kind of shower chair I used to have, so it's just not as easy to move around but that's just something I'll get used to. The legs are adjustable and weren't the easist to pull out but definitely don't budge once they snap in place. It's a beautiful looking chair and matches my bathroom very nicely. Doesn't look so much like a medical aid. On putting it together: When shopping for this shower chair, I read lot of reviews on multiple websites. One thing that stuck out to me, besides the comments about it being an awesome chair, was that many mentioned having a problem with some of the the screw holes not always lining up perfectly and also gave the advice to put each screw in place and tighten them all a little at a time evenly. I was a little concerned about that potential issue but decided to try this chair out anyways. On my own experience building the chair - I'm one to enjoy assembling things like this and I will say this one wasn't the quickest/easiest I've ever done but it still went ok. It took me like 30-45 minutes to do. Partly because I started out screwing some wrong parts together! I should mention that if you search the name of this shower chair on YouTube, as of July 2017, there's an official video showing how to assemble it. Once I followed the directions I was on the right track. I found the advice to place the all screws for the step you're on and tighten them a little at a time evenly to be hugely helpful. I only came across on screw hole that wasn't lined up perfectly but somehow still got everything tightened in place without having to drill a new hole or anything.

Reliably does what it's supposed to... a bit large for our shower but that's not the fault of the chair. Thus far, it seems to be a well engineered chair. The arms are unique, enable washing and rinsing and don't confine. Husband finds it comfortable and high enough for a 6'3" guy. Mesh seat is a good innovation. Seems sturdy enough, and no problems such as others have stated in reviews. He has used it for about 6 weeks. The little shampoo bottle holder on side is very useful. The holder for the portable shower head is convenient for when one gets tired of holding it. Worth a little extra money. Recommend!
