        A:  This and the filler are the main components needed, you may need some adapters depending on your pipe type.

          A:  This maybe too late but is your floor concrete foundation? If so - this is the wrong setup. The Concrete foundation valve and mount is totally different. Different Model number.

          I believe that a tub filler in the $1000.00 price...
          I believe that a tub filler in the $1000.00 price range should come with the rough in valve as a complete package. That said the valve is of nice quality and functions well.

            The missing piece to install our tub filler.
            I had purchased a Moen tub filler from another source but was unaware this rough kit was required. Found it at a good price and available at Home Depot.

            Trust me - TEST IT FIRST before installing. It goes inside the floor and gets covered up, so you'll never see it again. We bought this valve and installed it in the second story master bathroom by a licensed plumber. Leaked. Caused damage to first floor ceiling. 3 stars b/c 2nd one works OK.
