The trim will warp away from the structure!
A few months after installation, we noticed the whole trim coming entirely off of the structure. Looked like the trim was warping awfully. Turns out, even though this door is black, the brick mold comes white & they sneakily make a warranty exception for anyone who paints the brick mold a dark color. *EVEN THOUGH THE DOOR IS BLACK!* So if you're buying this door, and you plan on painting your house a dark color you'll need to remove the brick mold and fashion your own trim. Waste of time, money.

Beautiful and sturdy
This is a beautiful door. It was a compromise of a much more expensive door and I don't regret my choice. Homedepot Installer was awesome.

I recently purchased a manufactured home built in 2000 that had been poorly updated by the previous owner with run of the mill, mill work, doors, hardware, etc. In viewing hundreds of replacement doors for the front, I came across this one, reminiscent of a mid-century modern design, and immediately knew the style and decor I wanted for my home was an adaptation of mid-century modern.
I rated the ease of installation a 4 due to my helper not showing up and installing it myself. It is definitely a 2 person job. I painted the factory off white exterior side a pale gloss yellow with a narrow band of white around each pane of glass. That also facilitated completely new exterior entrance trim, porch redo, etc etc.

Great door but not an easy install
This is a beautiful door but you have to shim the jamb about every 6-8". The jamb is a plastic material & wants to warp & bow when you start installing the screws so shim a lot. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THE SCREWS PROVIDED! The screws are cheap aluminum and will strip before you get them in & that's a problem. Use different screws...
