Won't power up
i purchased the DIY 18K and installed it over 2 days. I followed the instructions and i thought all was going well. 2 30A breakers confirmed 120vac at the panel, wired up 30A Disconnect w/ 30A fuses confirmed 120vac on both load lines, load lines 1

We bought the 24k btu 4th gen. Unit. We normally don't set it below 79. It cools very well. We have a 2 br 1 bath home. My husband and son installed it pretty quickly. We recommend it.

Easy install
Installed this unit to cool my garage workshop. Took my time, followed instructions and the install was not bad at all. Now with temp 95 outside, my workshop is a cool 76 degrees.

Perfect unit to heat and cool my oversize garage.
DIY installation was simple. Took me about 3 hours to install with help hanging the unit on the wall. My garage is 48' long, 40' wide with 14' ceiling, fully insulated. 100 degree days are no problem anymore, set the thermostat to 74 it runs on low fan, super quiet. Love this unit, wishing now I would have bought this years ago.

Good product for the money
I just bought this unit with low expectations since I live in Florida. I decided to go mini splits over conventional so I can control costs. It was a good choice. Easy to install. Wall bracket should be built to adapt to standard 16 on center wall framing.

Really like the product. Quite and has lots of control functions. The only thing I would improve are the installations instructions. Instructions were a bit lame. Really needed a "big picture" of how the components function.
