Not white!
I wish I saw this in person before my contractor installed. It is a definite ivory white compared to my bright white tub. Need more accurate color description

This was a pretty easy install. Its important your tub be pretty level or else you end you with unsightly gaps in the wall ( they can be covered with caulk products). The wall materials are pretty thick and I think will hold up well. We had issues with the adhesive they provided with the kit- first off the 3 tubes of the liquid nails in the kit was not enough. Also - it just didn't grab and stick in a lot of places, 30 hours later we can feel space behind the wall when pushed and when we peeked behind - the adhesive was still fully wet and didn't dry not one bit. I would highly recommend purchasing about 5 or 6 tubes of a good tub wall adhesive before you start. The last issue I had was at the bottom edge right below the soap ledge- I didn't feel like there is not enough flat space to a good bead of adhesive- Its barely hanging on.. I wish they manufactured the ledge just a inch higher, I'm hoping the dish itself (and chaulk) keeps water away from infiltrating that area.

It took 2 weeks to get, which is fine and understandable. What I don't get is why it came from the manufacturer damaged, used, ripped open, with missing parts. Looks like someone returned it to HD, then HD sent it back to the manufacturer who didn't go through the box before shipping it out again. The fiberglass was broken in 3 places with pieces at the bottom of the box.
I did read the reviews, which were mixed, but usually I have good luck with things like this. But it's a good experience because I know I will never use this in a rental or my own house. I saw the way it cracked and bent which means it would not last more than a couple years even if it came in one piece. I'm going to look at Swan ones. They have an extreme thick version which is a tad more than double the price of this, but well worth it for a rental. If not, hardibacker, redguard, and tile.
If they wanted to sell this correctly it would come in a box full of Styrofoam blocks, designed just for this item, not a couple pieces of thin cardboard.

Attempted to install this tub surround in our cottage last fall with the adhesive provided....did not adhere to wall at all so product was returned. 2nd attempt in Spring with additional purchase of Original Weldwood Contact Cement was the difference maker. Surround panels stuck to wall almost immediately!!!! Surround is very nice and easy to install. Do yourself a favor and throw out adhesive provided with kit and use above mentioned product and it will be fine.

One week after install we have a stain on the shelf from a bottle of Axe shampoo. We tried cleaning with bath wipes, soft scrub, foaming cleanser and a couple other soft cleansers. We got it to fade a little but still there. Two days ago another stain showed up from the same bottle. Maybe the second one is our fault, sure, maybe we should have learned. But a shelf inside a tub surround SHOULD NOT STAIN FROM BATH PRODUCTS!!!!
We spent thousands on our bath remodel and now we have to spend the next several years worrying about buying products that don't have dye's so they won't stain the surround. Sad!

Great Product, Easy Installation.
This surround looks great, very durable. I am so glad it was recommended to us. We did have to stabilize the surround as my walls were not plumb, but it worked out fine. We used the shower rod on the top of the surround because the left side was not staying adhered to the wall, and we used wood to the bottom portion because the right side was not staying adhered to the wall. In the morning everything was securely fastened. My boyfriend put sharpee on the pipes and then pushed the surround back onto it so he knew exactly where to drill. This worked out perfect. This was a great buy!
