Hookup

Can this be hooked up to an exciting washing machine wall hook-up? The washing machine was moved, I just need a sink in the basement to wash out paint brushes/ paint sprayers? Mom is getting annoyed with paint in the kitchen sink.

I had a plumber to connect mine. I believe you need some additional hoses for the hook up and someone with some knowledge to connect it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sink is nice. Do not waste your time using trap supplied. I screwed the legs to the floor using anchors in the tile. If you have tile; buy a diamond drill bit and use masking tape around the area or hole to be drilled preventing the bit from wondering while you drill. You may be able to use a masonary drill bit depending on the tile. Take the leg levelers with you to a store and find screws with anchors to bolt the legs to the floor. The sink tends to move if the legs are not bolted to the floor. The trap supplied should be throw in the trash and leaked. I bought a trap kit separately and it did not leak. Do not waste your time with the trap supplied with the sink. Other reviews also reference the low quality trap supplied. Trust me!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good tub, horrible p trap The tub is very nice but save yourself the time and money and do not buy it as a kit. The p trap leaks just as it did from other reviews, I should have listened. I bought two of these tubs one for garage another for laundry room at the same time. Both traps leaked, I had to go buy new traps, Mustee never responded to my emails. The drain pipes included are so thin you can see through them.

It has a relatively good tub size for washing up (muddy boots, poopy pants etc.) Love that it comes with a 'lid' for counter space if you need it or just to cover so that it doesn't get mucky. We had ours professionally installed so not sure how easy it is to do DIY but seemed fairly straightforward.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice tub for the price This tub is probably the best you can get for the price. It's much better construction than something a little cheaper. And it's not overboard like the cabinet style (and obviously much cheaper in price). It's exactly what I need and will last quite a long time I'm sure. Good size and sturdy build... legs bolt to the floor which is nice. Comes with everything you need for simple hook up (if you've already got a drain line and water lines ready). I really like that it comes with a lid as it provides extra work space. Overall, a great value and I'm very happy with it.

The sizes of the pipes and the threads on the faucet aren't quite right, so I couldn't get things hooked up without hours of finagling. Also, the instructions were pretty useless.
