Hi Mike, There is no minimum vertical height requirement. You can install the macerating toilet system this way. However, we recommend using two 45-degree elbows for right-angle turns instead of one 90-degree elbow.

Hi Matthew, Here are the actual installation dimensions for your reference: the overall width of the macerating system is 17 ⁵/₁₆ inch. Without the extension pipe, the length is 27 ³/₈ Inch, and the footprint is about 3.3 sq ft. With the rigid extension pipe, the length is 38 ⁹/₁₆ inch, and the footprint is 4.64 sq ft.
Why dose the bowel fill before the pump engages then empties and draw in waste.?
Hi Mr. Larouche, The toilet bowl can fill even when the pump is not running. The toilet has its own flushing mechanism. Connecting the water supply line to the fill valve allows the tank to fill with water. By the way, this rear-outlet toilet can connect directly to a wall drain outlet. The pump only moves the waste to the main drain line after the flush.

what is the size of the drain line?
I think this was answered incorrectly by the manufacturer. The sewer outlet on the pump is 1 1/4 inch that goes to your main sewer line. The outlet on the toilet to the macerator is 3"

I have a small building that will have a toilet, shower & sink. It must pump about 80 feet up a gradual slope with about 8-10 of rise from start to finish to connect to waste lines of primary home. Can this system handle that?
