It takes a lot of coats what I did was...
It takes a lot of coats what I did was I bought the pint and then used the spray to coat over it evenly , which made 4 solid coats , spray comes out nice but it’s very direct instead of spreads out , still solid

DON'T DO IT
I used four kits for my tub and shower tile and I honestly don't know how many more it would take to make it look ok. The worst part is, now I have to pay an extra $200 for the refinishing company to remove the spray from the tub before they can refinish it. Let alone, I will have to retile the wall myself because having that refinished as well, would cost as much to entirely replace the tub and tile.Please, save yourself the time and money and just pay someone to refinish your tub.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment. When using these types of product, it can be frustrating due to the very specific instructions and work that comes with using a product like this. Depending on if the surface was prepped per the instructions, the humidity levels, if the product was not mixed or left out for allotted time, or applied too thick, these can affect the drying time and it can take much longer than usual for the product to cure/dry. The product can be removed by using a paint thinner that contains Methylene Chloride.

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!
I prepared the surface area according to the instructions. It took 3 boxes to cover all the tiles. The 3 boxes still weren't enough to completely keep the color from showing thru a bit. I allowed the paint to cure for a few WEEKS. I trimmed the window and other areas with painter's tape. I had planned to paint the window a color other than white but I decided to paint the window white and this is the result of me peeling off the painter's tape. It stuck to the painter's tape. It also wipes off with the slightest rub/wipe. Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE! Hate to see what's going to happen to the rest of it once I turn the shower on. This product should NOT be on the shelves. Wish I hadn't misplaced a couple of my receipts or discarded the products before seeing the results. I WANT A FULL REFUND for all 3 BOXES!!!!! DON'T waste your money on this product!!!

Six years ago I refinished the tub with the product HD was selling. It was an epoxy and was very good, but my sanding left a bit to be desired so I had some peeling as time went on. I used this to refinish again, sanding copiously with 400 and 600 grit wet/dry. I masked off most of the bathroom, but the spray goes all over so I had a day of cleaning (needed it anyway). The finish is matte, not shiny, and feels a bit rough. It is also not "bright" white which is most annoying. Make sure you wear some type of mask as the fumes are pretty bad and the over-spray will coat your nose. Make sure you vent the fan to the outside as it will put the over-spray into the house if you don't vent properly. Even with the fan I had to clean the floors outside of the bathroom. I have two more days of waiting before I can caulk and use the tub, so I have no comment beyond application and appearance.

Decided to use this product after realizing that the new tub/shower that the homeowner wanted me to install would not fit through the door. Absolutely love the results but since I did this as part of a whole house update to make it ready for resale it probably won't be used so I can't speak as to the durability of the product which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. The customer is happy and that's what matters
