Q:I just purchased this from Home Depot and it states the unit is garage ready, but in the instruction book is says it is NOT to be used in a garage and the temp range is 50-85 degrees. Which is it? I need it to be used in a garage.

Produce trays fall out and break
The clear plastic produce drawers on the bottom of the frig. are not on a track and have no stops so when you pull them out to get produce out of the back of the drawer it will fall out and break the plastic. Creates a harmful situation in that if you aren’t carefully the cracked drawer will cut your hand once it is cracked.

RV Camper refrigerator replacement
I live in a camper full time and my refrigerator went out and a new “rv camper” refrigerator is 1,200 paid a little under $500 for this one and it looks great!

Apparently not actually garage ready
I wanted a medium fridge for my garage. Home Depot's product description said this would fit the bill. But lo and behold, when the fridge arrived the manual says very clearly NOT to put this fridge in a garage. Strangely, the manual I received is different than the manual on the product page, so you couldn't even have figure out the product description is incorrect if you wanted to be thorough. Its keeping my things cold, but sure is disappointing I cannot be sure of its longevity. Buyer beware!

Swapped out RV refrigerator.
The 7cf Dometic refrigerator in our RV died and once I found out the cost of a similar replacement gas/electric refrigerator I started looking for options. This Magic Chef had the same width and only slightly taller, and being a third the price of a Dometic I decided to give it a try.
In my case there was some space both above and below the Dometic that was just dead space. All I had to do was remove the platform the Dometic rested on so that the Magic Chef would fit.

Pleased with Purchased
Researched sizes, watched a video. Ordered, Hubby drove 150 miles & picked frig up @ Home Depot, Cordele Ga. (laided in truck)and unloaded standing up inside RV in Fla. He waited 24 hours to install. Good fit, went thru front door, installed by himself. Cooled quickly. Was on sale and happy its frost free. The doors open to the left, perfect. Saved a great deal versus 3 way refrigerator.

Very nice refrigerator
This is a very nice little refrigerator. We purchased it to have as extra room. Most reviews talked about it not freezing well. It freezes very well and its on regular setting. The freezer is deep and has nice room in the refrigerator area. Very pleased with the purchase.
