This freezer gave us the ability to freeze and store over 40 pounds of fruit this year. The best thing for us is that it is just a little shorter than standard counter height, so we could replace one of the old kitchen cupboards we use in the utility room with this, but a few chunks of scrap lumber on the top to bring the height up, and set the counter-top back on top.

I bought this freezer very slightly used (a couple of months). I keep it in my garage. It's a good thing, because this freezer is noisy! Too bad I cannot attach the recording that I made. This freezer also ices up very quickly. See photo. This is ice buildup after only a couple of months, at most. I bought another used 3 cu. ft. freezer more than a year ago. I defrosted it after more than a year of use, and it had less ice buildup than the Magic Chef does already.

Arrived in good shape. No dents or scratches. Plugged in and it got to freezing fine. Noticed a large frost build up inside the unit at the top edge on the left corner. Could’nt get the seal to work after flexing. Texted the chat for advice. After 1 hour on various holds and retexting the information, a replacement was ordered. We’ll see about the replacement. I have my fingers crossed.

Just needed a little extra freezer space. So it works perfectly, no digging to find a product.

I love this freezer! It fits nicely under my counter top and the front opening door makes everything easy to find and to reach. It is just what I was looking for.

i have this item for around 6 months already, working like a champ so far , and for the money i paid, i can't find any similar item for this price

Nice upright freezer. Works well in our RV. Makes up for the smaller refrigerator in our place.

Right size. Right price. Easy to pick up and put into place. So far, so good. Have had it nearly a month. Stays frozen to 0 degrees and below on default setting of 4. Runs super quiet. If yours runs loud, it's defective and you need to take it back. We live in a small house and needed some extra room for fruit season. Freezing berries and peaches takes freezer room and this is perfect. This little freezer fit under a desk counter in a bedroom we turned into an office. Glad it was available for me, I heard that a few months ago the small freezer wasn't available. Happy that this worked out so well. It's not frost free, so be willing too cool everything down in your refrigerator before adding to freezer. The humidity of the food freezing will cause extra frost to form. The manual mentions something about this feature. Read the manual for best results.
