We bought this freezer to replace a larger upright one that broke down. I picked it up at my local HD and it came in secure packing and was in undamaged condition.
It's holding the proper temperature and we like the pilot light and run light so that you know at a glance that it's running.
The only negatives are the power cord, which exits on the side rather than the back and it is a bit more difficult to see what's inside than with an upright freezer. It's also kind of short, making reaching down into it to grab things difficult, so we put it on cement blocks.

This product was exactly what my fiancé and I were looking for. Our house was built in 1858 so the stairs to the basement are super narrow, so to find a freezer small enough to squeeze down the stairwell and still be effective in storing items had proven to be difficult and we had been searching for quite some time. A few months ago we came across this item. The size is perfect, the basket on top makes it easy to access frequently used items (i.e. ice pops) thus making it the perfect present given to us by one of our dearest friends via an "unofficial registry" being that Home Depot doesn't do a gift registry- something, Home Depot should consider. The picture attached was taken prior to even knowing that this contest existed as a "thank you" text to our friends who had gifted it to us. As you can see, you have one very satisfied customer.

After a few weeks at home: Works well, easy to set up, looks good. External temp. dial is convenient. One complain; Two dents on the left corner. They were done at the factory before packaging because the double cardboard box showed no damage. The factory should have caught it before shipping, someone there did not report it.
Would have rated it 5 starts except for the small damage.
I do not expect any action on your part (Home Depot) other than perhaps reporting to the factory so they make sure this oversight is corrected.
